# CMS Part B NDC-HCPCS Crosswalk

> Search filters and result fields of cms_part_b_crosswalk.

* **Dataset id:** `cms_part_b_crosswalk`
* **Jurisdiction:** US · CMS
* **Date field:** none. A search that sets `date_from` or `date_to` skips this dataset and reports it as `skipped`.
* **Access:** any API key.

## Filters

Send these under `filters.cms_part_b_crosswalk` in a [search](/api-reference/v3/search) request. A filter not listed here, or a value of the wrong type, is a 400.

  Exact HCPCS/J-code, uppercase (e.g. "J3241").
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="ndc_11" type="string">
  Exact 11-digit NDC in 5-4-2 form with no dashes (e.g. "75987013015"). Zero-pad each segment of a shorter segmented NDC to 5-4-2 before matching.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="application_number" type="string">
  Exact FDA application number, openFDA prefix + digits (e.g. "BLA761143", "NDA021436").
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="application_type" type="string">
  Exact application type. NULL for unmatched / OTC-monograph NDCs — those will not match this filter.

  Values: `NDA`, `ANDA`, `BLA`.

<ParamField body="brand_name" type="string">
  BM25 keyword match on the openFDA brand name (e.g. "Tepezza").
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="generic_name" type="string">
  BM25 keyword match on the generic name (e.g. "teprotumumab").
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="labeler_name" type="string">
  BM25 keyword match on the CMS labeler/manufacturer (e.g. "Amgen").
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="descriptor" type="string">
  BM25 keyword match on the HCPCS descriptor text.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="marketing_category" type="string">
  Exact openFDA marketing category (e.g. "BLA", "NDA", "ANDA", "OTC MONOGRAPH DRUG"). NULL for unmatched NDCs.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="matched_app_in_corpus" type="boolean">
  True to keep only NDCs whose application\_number is indexed in the Rhizome FDA corpus.
</ParamField>
